The New Age

The Katogi Averof winery is a building of exceptional aesthetics. Externally, it is in harmony with the traditional architecture of Metsovo, while the interior production spaces, thanks to the visual interventions, create a unique spectacle.
The hotel is located next to the winery thus completing the wine tourism experience.
The Vineyards in Yniets are among the most mountainous vineyards in Greece, at an altitude of 950 to 1,150 meters on the slopes of Pindos, where the seasons follow their own rhythm and the vines are slow to ripen.
In Yniets, which in the Vlach dialect means vineyard, the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Traminer are grown.
Vlach Syrah as well as lesser-known native varieties of the region such as Gudamba, Vlahavona and Pyknoassa.
The Inima wine series marks a new era in the Averof estate. In the Vlach local dialect of Metsovo, "Inima" will mean heart. For Katogi Averof, the meaning of the word Inima expresses the soul and condenses the most positive elements of the people behind the wine.

The "New Age" taste test includes the four labels of the Inima series based on indigenous varieties:

-Inima Sauvignon Blanc-White

-Inima Negoska-Rosé

-Inima Negoska-Red

-Inima Xinomavro-Red

-Tsipouro Katogi Averof

Time duration 60min.
